The game in supposed to be also worth to mention about.San Salvador (3-1) played at the court of Santa Ana (1-2). San Salvador did not have too big problems and got a relatively easy victory 92-72 . San Salvador dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Santa Ana 's 30. San Salvador forced 22 Santa Ana turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 29 assists comparing to just 13 passes made by Santa Ana 's players. It was a good game for Anisleidy Galindo who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 24 points, 14 rebounds, 6 assists and 5 steals. Cuban point guard Arlenys Romero (176-1984) contributed with 27 points and 6 assists for the winners. Four San Salvador players scored in double figures. Guard Vanessa Hernandez (157-1997) answered with 25 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists and Cuban point guard Dairis Tornell (176-1992) added 10 points in the effort for Santa Ana. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
